San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) offers public transportation services throughout Stockton and between surrounding communities in San Joaquin County. Route schedules and times vary. Please call or visit RTD's website for more details.

Hopper Routes: The Metro Hopper is a deviated, fixed-route bus service serving popular destinations throughout the Stockton city limits. The County Hopper is a deviated fixed-route bus service connecting the Metro and rural areas of San Joaquin County. Most RTD Hopper routes will deviate up to one mile for ADA-certified elderly and disabled passengers not able to reach fixed route stops. For certification information, please call (209) 943-1111. Reservations are required two days in advance for all Hopper deviations.

Stockton Metro Area ADA Dial-A-Ride (SMA ADA DAR): Paratransit, curb-to-curb service countywide for residents of San Joaquin County within the City of Stockton who, due to a disability, are unable to get to or from the fixed route bus stops. Eligibility: must be disabled and have ADA certification through RTD. Reservations must be made one to two days in advance.
