CalFresh Healthy Living, UC Program offers workshops at local agencies serving low-income families and individuals in San Joaquin County. The workshops promote healthy eating, physical activity, food resource management skills and safe food handling. The following is a list of their programs:

  • Youth program offers San Joaquin County children research-based nutrition and physical activity focused curicula. The information helps them make consistent, healthful choices in their daily lives. Audience: children, birth to 18 years of age enrolled in programs where there is 50% or more enrollment in free and reduced price lunch program or living in census tracts where 50% or more of the residents are below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level
  • Adult program is focused on improving the nutrition-related skills, specifically those skills related to selecting, purchasing and preparing a low-cost nutritional diet for themselves and their families

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
