Hire Me First Program offers job training, job readiness workshops, mock interviews, and internship placement to high school juniors and seniors who attend school in Tracy.
Through their participation in a work activity with the private sector, participating youth have the opportunity to:
- Acquire a better awareness of employer expectations
- Develop strong work maturity, work ethic and a sense of responsibility
- Participate in career exploration that builds an awareness of job opportunities available in our community to help them make better career decisions
- Develop job specific and transferable skills that they can apply in future employment opportunities
