San Joaquin County WorkNet Center Services provide job search assistance and the necessary tools needed to obtain employment. Staff members are available to assist customers with all of their job search needs. WorkNet services include:

  • Internet access
  • CalJOBS
  • Job matching
  • Labor market information
  • Training and education information
  • Career counseling
  • Community resources
  • Application and resume writing assistance
  • Fax and telephone access for job search purposes.

Youth may qualify for additional services through WorkNet or one of several contracted youth service providers. To be eligible, youth must be between the ages of 16 and 21 years, economically disadvantaged, and have barriers to employment. Services for eligible youth may include case management, assistance with completion of high school or GED, career guidance, labor market and career exploration, training, job placement, work experience, supportive services, and follow-up services. WorkNet Centers:
  • Stockton WorkNet Center, 6221 West Lane, Suite 105, Stockton (209) 468-3660. Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on Wednesday, center closes at 2:30 p.m.
  • Manteca WorkNet Center, at Manteca Adult School, 2271 West Louise Avenue, Manteca, (209) 239-3315. Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on Wednesday, center closes at 2:30 p.m.
  • San Joaquin Delta College WorkNet Center, 5151 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, (209) 954-5151 ext. 6300. Shima Building, Second Floor, 217 For services, please call to make an appointment.

Workshops are not available at the San Joaquin Delta College site.

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm., closes at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays for staff development.
