Individuals who have lost an infant unexpectedly
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) program provides grief and bereavement services and case management to families and/or child care providers who have experienced the death of an infant due to SIDS or a Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID). A Public Health Nurse will make contact with the family within three working days after notification from the coroner about the death, and provide support services, information, and referrals to community resources.
Community and provider education about SIDS are offered anytime.
