Mended Hearts, Inc. Stockton Chapter #40 is a support group for individuals who have had open-heart surgery, as well as support for families as well. Meetings are designed to provide moral support for patients and families.

All patients meet with a counselor prior to open-heart surgery to discuss concerns or issues associated with the procedure. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month, excluding July, August and December, in Classroom 2 on the lower level of St. Josephs Medical Center at 7:00 p.m. Individuals with heart disease concerns are welcome.
