Youth 18 to 25 years of age
The Greater Valley Conservation Corps helps youth, 18 to 25 years old, with academic instruction, employment opportunities, green job training, life skills, and much more!
GVCC serves businesses, schools, special events, non-profits, municipalities, public works departments, and cities throughout San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Calaveras, Amador, and Tuolumne Counties.
Their purpose is to inspire, educate, and serve local youth and communities by providing opportunities to practice a strong work ethic and environmental stewardship.
GVCC 18 to 25 year olds to provide recycling and natural resources projects in Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Amador, Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties. There are two locations, Stockton (Main Hub) and Sonora (satellite facility). Each location hires youth, provides on the job training, education, if needed, and industry recognized certifications. After one year, Corpsmembers transition out of the program directly into full time positions and/or post secondary education.
