American Cancer Society provides support to cancer patients and their families at no direct cost to patients or the people who care for them. This includes transportation to medical appointments, transportation reimbursement, lodging, support groups and wigs.

The American Cancer Society also provides information on all types of cancer and prevention education.

Cancer Support Groups hosts two cancer support groups:

  • "Reach to Recovery" puts women with breast cancer into contact with other breast cancer survivors
  • "Road to Recovery": depending on your individual needs and what’s available in your area, they will coordinate a ride with an American Cancer Society volunteer driver, coordinate a ride with a local organization that has partnered with them to provide transportation or refer you to a local resource that can help.

A Spanish speaking support group for cancer patients is also available.

Hours
