Eligibility

Residents of San Joaquin County who meet income guidelines and have a minor child that is a descendant of a federally recognized tribe or from the California Judgment Roll.

Services

Native TANF Program provides cash assistance, emergency services, childcare reimbursement assistance, transportation reimbursement assistance and other supportive services to families who meet income guidelines and have a minor child that is a descendant of a federally recognized tribe or from the California Judgment Roll. There is an emphasis on providing employment, education and wellness services so that all participants can increase the likelihood of self-sufficiency.
