Students must know how to swim.
Stockton Sailing Club sponsors family-oriented events throughout the year such as racing regattas, one-design and PHRF racing. It supports a junior sailing program and education seminars for novice, intermediate, and advanced sailors of all ages. It holds informal events throughout the year such as Friday night mixers at the clubhouse, dock parties, deep water cruising and the renowned Delta Ditch Run.
Member applications are interviewed, approved by a board of directors and asked to participate in a new member orientation. New members must be sponsored by two existing members and pay a small initial membership fee. A boat is not required and new members will have ample opportunity to learn sailing with existing members.
