Local Health District provides the following services: registration, analysis of vital records, provision of copies, control of communicable diseases, including immunization, tuberculosis, case-finding and diagnosis treatment of venereal diseases, maternal and child health services, well baby clinics, school health services, health screening, therapy and clinics for handicapped children, health education, public health laboratory and bedside nursing and home health aide services for selected public assistance clients who are eligible for services under Medi-Cal.
