Parking (per vehicle) and Pets: $5 per vehicle (weekdays), $6 (weekends and holidays), $10 (special holiday weekends - Easter, Mothers Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day). Vehicles over 22 feet: $12. Pets: $1 (leash required). Fishing: 16+ years: $5 (with valid California Fishing License), 15 and under: Free.

Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park is located near Stockton’s Spanos Park West. This 180-acre park is situated in a beautiful oak-forest setting and features several amenities:

  • Shumway Oak Grove Lake- a ten-acre lake stocked with seasonal catfish and trout.
  • Shumway Oaks Nature Center- offering educational programs and exhibits detailing the many flora and fauna native to San Joaquin County. School and group tours are offered on the facility. To request a tour, please call (209) 953-8814.
  • Two nature trails- a 1.5 mile walk among old grove trees plus a 1/4 mile handicapped accessible trail
  • Rental facilities- including the indoor boathouse plus outdoor picnic shelters
  • 18-hole disc golf course- children’s playgrounds, and a youth campground available for youth-group camping
  • Horseshoe pits, picnic tables, and BBQ grills

Park: Open daily (except Christmas) 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oaks Nature Center: Saturday and Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. To schedule school or group tours, use contact number for the Nature Center.
