Meals on Wheels

Must be 60 years of age or older, frail, and homebound.

None. Contributions accepted but not mandatory.

Meals on Wheels (Home Delivered Meals) provides a nutritious meal and personal contact to homebound seniors in the San Joaquin County community. The highest priority deliveries are for the seniors that live alone and are frail.

A five-pack of frozen meals are delivered to the client's home weekly, along with fresh milk and fruit. All menus are reviewed by two nutritionists to ensure compliance with Federal Guidelines. Meals are designed to be low fat, low salt, and low sugar.
