Children and youth ages 6-17 with mild-level symptoms/behaviors who reside in San Joaquin County, have active Medi-Cal insurance, are not currently receiving mental health/psychiatric services and/or do not have an extensive history of mental health/psychiatric services.

San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services Child and Youth services CARES Plus offers a community-based team approach to early intervention-level services providing individual/group curriculum-based support along with optional mild-level mental health counseling services as needed to children and youth:

• Short-term
• Problem solving
• Coping and resiliency
• Skill-building services focused on stress reduction
• Positive communication
• Relationship enhancement
• Optional mild-level mental health counseling 

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
