Services

Native American Indian Education Center located at Edison High School, trains teachers in the cultural difficulties they encounter with Native American customs. Field trips and educational activities are provided and there is a multicultural specialist on staff. Lectures are given on Native American affairs. The Center is open Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for arts and crafts, music and films to everyone interested in Native American heritage. There is a resource library available and tutoring opportunities for students. Monthly calendars are available with information on workshops and events.
