Golden Valley Health Center (GVHC) cares for people from all walks of life. As a Federally Qualified Health Center — an FQHC — they follow the Federal and the State of California regulations pertaining to the type and quality of health services provided to anyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Golden Valley Health Center provides:
- Board certified and licensed professionals. In an emergency, one of their doctors is on-call 24-hours a day to provide care. Each health center uses electronic health records so that they can share health information among caregivers to ensure that your care is performed at the highest level.
- Services to everyone. They accept Medi-Cal, Medicare, Covered California, and most private insurance plans. If you don’t have insurance they offer a sliding fee scale program to those who qualify. Please bring in your proof of income or last year’s tax information to see if you qualify for free or low cost health care.
- Appointments by calling Toll Free (866) 682-4842. The 38+ centers are located throughout the region, close to where you work or live.
