Changeist is an out-of-school program that brings together middle school, high school, and college-aged youth to learn a common civic language, engage in dialogue, and build community to investigate local and national challenges. On Saturdays between January 10, 2026, and June 27, 2026, the program focuses on developing sociopolitical knowledge and personal agency.

As a Changeist participant, individuals are:

  • Provided with resources to explore social issues, serve the community, and reflect on solutions to issues of personal importance
  • Given space to learn and practice sociopolitical change-making and leadership skills, including public speaking, mobilization, information literacy, social media usage, conflict resolution, and team leadership
  • Offered opportunities to partner with local community-based organizations to implement local solutions to local problems
  • Exposed to a range of groups, perspectives, cultures, and ideas

Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday event: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
