Amelia Ann Adams Whole Life Center (AAAWLC) is a non-profit organization that offers non-traditional forms of mental health services, such as support groups, restorative healing circles, and trauma-informed practices/teachings. AAAWLC offers many programs and services that help with case management, leadership development, housing support, counseling, and more, such as:
- Youth Thriving Beyond Bars (YTTB) Ages: 13-25
- Community Health Workers (CHW)
- Housing Works - Homeless Prevention (Requirements: Have child(ren) ages 0-18. Receive CALWORKS with at least one active child ages 0-18. Experiencing homelessness, or at risk of homelessness with an eviction notice or a 3-day pay or quit notice.)
- Thought Partner
- SistaCoach (Eligibility: Identifies as Black or African American. Pregnant or parenting a child under 3 months. Sixteen years of age or older. No income requirement.)
- Food Distribution (Every 2nd Friday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
