Family Crisis Intervention Program provides services to homeless families and single women living in the shelter, as well as transitional shelter. Friends Outside is a non-profit agency that assists families and friends of incarcerated men at DVI, at the Friends Outside Visiting Center. It serves the children and works to maintain family unification. Emergency clothing, food and shelter and children’s programs are also offered. Transportation from the Greyhound and Amtrack stations in Stockton is provided. Reservations must be made one week in advance. Child care for children ages 7 years and older is available.
