Pregnant and/or parenting teens in the Lodi Unified School District who are attending school full-time. Plaza Robles High School's campus-based day care is available for infants 6 weeks to toddlers age three. Students may attend Plaza Robles High School or any Lodi Lodi Unified School District school. Students participating in the New Horizons Program are required to assist in the day care one period per day, if feasible in their school schedule.
The New Horizons Program for Pregnant and Parenting Minors offers a program for Lodi Unified School District's pregnant and parenting students. It is focused on retaining students in school, ensuring their education and progress towards graduation and assisting in goal setting and transitioning to college or career. The program offers prenatal, childbirth and parenting information, extensive exposure to community resources, and campus-based counseling. Students may attend classes at Plaza Robles High School, or any other Lodi Unified School. Students participate one period per day in a Parenting Education Lab, where students learn hands-on skills as they assist in the day care center.
