California Highway Patrol (CHP) remains committed in keeping the public safe everywhere. It is their sworn duty to go above and beyond the call of duty to prevent loss of life, injuries, and property damage. Their motto is "Safety, Service, and Security." They take a pro-active stance against crime, trying not only to protect our public, but by showing the public how to protect themselves. They promote safe driving for all ages, they have programs designed to teach kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and they provide support to victims of crimes. Help them keep our roads and highways safe. Do your part by driving safely, and reminding others of their responsibilities on the road. California's safety is everyone's responsibility.
