Formed in 1926, the Stockton Symphony is the third oldest, continuously performing, orchestra in California, surpassed in longevity only by the San Francisco Symphony and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Our Mission
To inspire joy and build community through music.

Our Vision
The Stockton Symphony electrifies audiences of all ages with sold-out performances of symphonic concerts throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Our goal is to build a passionate curiosity about contemporary music while preserving the symphonic heritage of the past and to make the concert-going experience an essential and vital part of community life.

The Stockton Symphony provides the community with a variety of music, entertainment and esteemed guest artists and is comprised of some of California’s finest professional musicians.

Each season the Stockton Symphony offers two Series: a five-concert Classics Series and a four-concert POPS Series. The Symphony offers multiple ticketing options from single tickets to subscriptions to Group Tickets, offering you the flexibility to control your concert experience according to what works for your budget and tastes.

In alignment with our vision, each year the Stockton Symphony performs our signature concerts "Steppin' Out" which introduces 4th and 5th grade students symphonic music. To afford access to symphony, the Stockton Symphony has created a Student Discount Ticket Program for students from elementary school to college.

YOUR community - YOUR orchestra - Music YOUR way!
