Child Development Center is licensed for 192 children ages 18 months to 5 years of age. The Center provides quality child development preschool programs and child care. The Center also serves as an optimal learning environment for early childhood education, nursing and other disciplines of study. The Center is funded by the State Department of Education.
Quality Full Day, State Preschool and Child Care Services are available with priority enrollment given to children of San Joaquin Delta College students, staff and faculty that are eligible for the State Department of Education funding. Eligibility is based on household income and family size. Families must demonstrate a need for the full day services. A fee for services may be charged based on the State Income Guidelines.
Children are enrolled for the program year (Fall-Spring). Returning families are given preferred (not guaranteed) enrollment. Once classrooms are filled for the year, a waiting list is maintained for the remainder of the year. When classroom vacancies occur, children are taken from the waiting list to fill the openings. If no children from Delta students, staff or faculty are on the list, the Center will accept eligible children from the community.
Please contact the Child Development Center or visit the website for more information about the Center’s services.
