SJCOE one.Choice program is one of approximately thirty four school sites offered through the SJCOE Alternative Education Program. This particular site has a population consisting of pregnant, parenting teens and non-pregnant teens. In addition to offering academic instruction that will lead to a high school diploma, one.Choice focuses on child development and parent education. Child care is available to all children of the teen parents and is funded through Head Start. The students spend a portion of their day involved in caregiving at the child care center. Transportation is also provided for students who have their child enrolled in Head Start.
