Recipients of Registry must be authorized for services by In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS). Individuals can apply to be listed on the Registry if they are interested in working as a home care provider.
San Joaquin County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority operates a registry of available home care providers for IHSS recipients. IHSS also certifies IHSS recipients and providers in First-Aid and CPR and offers many in-house services such as: nutrition, health and safety, basic computer and internet skills, infection control, depression, Parkinson’s Disease and much more. The IHSS Public Authority is the main contact for individual providers and direct hires for IHSS recipients to get their payroll enrollment packet and enrollment requirements met.
