Veteran and active duty military service members of both pre and post 9/11service from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, including National Guard and Reserve, and spouses of active or veteran service members seeking assistance to pursue an undergraduate degree.
Tillman Scholars program supports the nation’s active and veteran service members and their spouses by removing financial barriers to completing a degree program of choice. The scholarship funds cover not only direct study-related expenses such as tuition and fees, but also other needs, including housing and child care.
Since the program’s inception, the Pat Tillman Foundation has invested over $14 million in financial support over 460 Scholars. These scholarship funds are just a portion of the Tillman Scholar experience which also focuses on guiding an engaged community and providing essential resources that empower Scholars to serve and lead in their local communities and ease the transition from military to civilian life.
