Services

Native American Indian Education Center located at Edison High School, encourages parents to send their children to school or provide home tutors for those children not attending. The Center also trains teachers in the cultural difficulties they encounter with Native American customs. Field trips and educational activities are provided and there is a multicultural specialist on staff. Lectures are given on Native American affairs. The Center is open Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for arts and crafts, music and films to everyone interested in Native American heritage. There is also a resource Library available. Tutoring is available for teens. Monthly calendars are available with information on workshops and events.
