Services

Operation Peacekeeper Outreach Workers are street-wise men and women trained in:

  • conflict resolution
  • mediation
  • community organizing
  • mentoring
  • case management

They work in schools and neighborhoods, wherever there are young people at risk of violence. Workers respond to areas where violent crimes have occurred to talk with the youth and their families to prevent retaliations.

Operation Peacekeeper uses outreach workers in collaboration with government, community-based and faith-based organizations to:

  • Reduce gang-related violence in Stockton
  • Reach out to gang-related youth and young adults
  • Provide resources for youth to avoid a gang lifestyle and become productive members of society

Operation Peacekeeper mentors youth and young adults with the highest risk of gang involvement, particularly serious gun-related violence, and provides positive alternatives for a healthier, non-violent lifestyle.
