Eligibility

Manteca Transit Dial-a-Ride service is a door-to-door transportation service for individuals with a certified disability, seniors age 62 and older, and Medicare participants. Only persons certified by Manteca Transit as meeting the requirements are eligible to ride this service. There are no eligibility requirements for fixed route service.

Services

Manteca Transit operates fixed route and Dial-a-Ride bus service throughout Manteca with stops at key locations throughout the city. Manteca Transit operates three fixed routes within the Manteca city limits.

  • Fixed Route Service

Bus Service Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Saturday service is Route 1, Route 2 and Dial-A-Ride only). Closed on Sunday.

Fixed route fares:

  • Adult - $1.00
  • Youth (Age 2-18) - $0.75
  • Senior/Disabled/Medicare - $0.50
  • Child (under 2) - Free (Up to two children per adult)
  • Transfers - Free

Passes:

Monthly Pass

  • Adult - $35.00
  • Youth (Age 2-18) - $28.00
  • Senior/Disabled/Medicare - $28.00

  • 10-Ride Pass

  • Adult - $9.00
  • Youth (Age 5-18) - $7.00
  • Senior/Disabled/Medicare - $4.50

  • Dial-A-Ride (ADA Paratransit)

    Manteca Transit Dial-a-Ride service is a curb-to-curb transportation service for individuals with a certified disability, seniors age 62 and older, and Medicare participants. This paratransit service is required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Only persons certified by Manteca Transit as meeting the requirements are eligible to ride this service. Trips are scheduled during the same times and within three-quarters of a mile of the fixed route service. Individuals with a certified disability, seniors (age 62+) and Medicare participants must be certified to utilize the Dial-a-Ride services.

    ADA Complementary Paratransit certification is done by Access San Joaquin. Passengers receive an in-person functional assessment. Once ADA-certified, you will have ridership privileges within each jurisdiction in San Joaquin County based on that agency's ADA fare structure.

    Reservations

    Reservation and subscription services are available on Manteca Dial-A-Ride up to fourteen (14) days in advance by calling the Manteca Transit Office at (209) 456-8888 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    All Manteca Transit buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts or ramps and at least two wheelchair securement locations.
