Clients are referred by the Human Services Agency/CalWORKs.
The Center for Employment Opportunity provides case management services to CalWORKs clients. Supportive services such as child care, transportation and cost of books are offered. Clients are assisted in the process of becoming self-sufficient. San Joaquin County Behavioral Wellness and Substance Abuse staff offer counseling services at the site, for CalWORKs participants. In addition, the Center for Employment Opportunity has food commodity, low-income utilities assistance, and immigration / refugee support programs.
