Services

American Cancer Society provides support to cancer patients and their families at no direct cost to patients or the people who care for them. This includes transportation to medical appointments, transportation reimbursement, lodging, support groups, wigs and "Look Good Feel Better" classes.

The American Cancer Society also provides information on all types of cancer and prevention education.

Cancer Support Groups hosts four cancer support groups:

  • "Reach to Recovery" puts women with breast cancer into contact with breast cancer survivors
  • Man to Man" puts men with prostate cancer into contact with prostate cancer survivors
  • "Look Good Feel Better” class for women undergoing chemotherapy
  • Road to Recovery

A Spanish speaking support group for breast cancer patients is also available.

Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please call to inquire about support group meeting days and times.
