Best Practices in the Education of Children with Down Syndrome Presented by Dignity Health

September 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Registration open 8:30 a.m.)

September 18th 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Registration open 10:30 a.m.)

$25 per day or $40 for both days.

Members of The Brighterside of Down Syndrome attend free.

Parents/caregivers of child(ren) with Down Syndrome $10 for both days.

Speaker Kathleen M. Feeley, Ph.D, BCBA

Dr. Kathleen Feeley is an Associate Professor at Long Island University, Founding Director of the Center for Community Inclusion, an accomplished researcher, and has published several articles examining the effectiveness of behavior analytic interventions with children with Down Syndrome, has authored a book on augmentative communication, and most recently is authoring an early intervention manual for families and interventionists of young children with Down Syndrome.
